Answer:

Here is an idea on how to write your essay. You may need to elaborate a bit more.

There was a time when Germany’s economy was at its worst. When Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Party was rising to power. Yet, Otto and Edith Frank were blessed  to welcome Annelies Marie Frank to their lives on June 12, 1929 on the outskirts of Frankfurt. As  a young girl, Anne is forced to go into hiding amidst much political persecution of her people in her new home country of Netherlands.

Living in the secrecy  of the Annex forces upon Anne the stark reality of a critical time in a Jew´s life. Anne will eventually complete her diary with over two years of experiences of the Secret Annex.Two years that will change the bright-eyed little girl who walked into the annex for the first time into a fully-fledged woman that would never leave that place alive.

Anne's diary begins just as Anne hits adolescence. She tells us that “Writing in a diary is a really strange experience for someone like me. Not only because I've never written anything before, but also because it seems to me that later on neither I nor anyone else will be interested in the musings of a thirteen-year-old schoolgirl. Oh well, it doesn't matter. I feel like writing, and I have an even greater need to get all kinds of things off my chest.” At this stage she is just a little girl trying to relieve some of the constraints of her confinement by writing something.

Although she is living the extraordinary circumstances of hiding in an annex from German persecution, Anne faces the many normal problems of any  bright-eyed thirteen year old. Anne begins to mature emotionally and physically, and  recognizes her limitations  to  understanding adulthood when she first began writing her diary. In one entry, she shows that her younger self has deepened "I wouldn't be able to write that kind of thing anymore," she says. "My descriptions are so indelicate."

Anne matures over the course of the Diary into a deeper more realistic woman. Anne begins as an optimistic young girl who, with the passing of time, reflects on her place in the world and is quick to challenge  views  and argue with the other residents in the annex. As she tells us on page 142, “Sometimes I think God is trying to test me, both now and in the future. I'll have to become a good person on my own, without anyone to serve as a model or advise me, but it'll make me stronger in the end.

Answer 2

Germany's economy was at its worst at one point. when the Nazi Party of Adolf Hitler was gaining power. Nevertheless, on June 12, 1929, in the outskirts of Frankfurt, Otto and Edith Frank had the good fortune to become parents to Annelies Marie Frank.

What is the concept of the passage?

Living in the Annex's privacy makes Anne face the harsh truth of a crucial period in a Jew's existence. After keeping a diary for more than two years, Anne will eventually finish it. Two years will transform the giddy young girl who entered the annex for the first time into a woman.

Anne's diary starts right when she enters her youth. She explains, "For someone like myself, keeping a diary is an extremely unusual experience. Not only have I never written anything before, but it also appears to me that no one else or I will be interested in the thoughts of a thirteen-year-old schoolgirl in the future.

Oh well, it's irrelevant. I'm in the mood to write and feel a strong want to vent about several topics. She is currently only a young child attempting to write something to help her feel less restricted in her cage.

Thus, Germany's economy was at its worst at one point.

Who is considered an abolitionist?

As the name suggests, an abolitionist was someone who worked to end slavery in the 19th century. More precisely, these people demanded the immediate and complete freedom of all slaves. They attempted to reach people by educating them about the scenario that was being lived at the time via the use of authentic testimonies from those who had witnessed the suffering of slaves.

Many individuals joined the cause and switched from eating sugar that was grown by slaves to buying sugar that was produced by freemen. Bristol, a maritime city, also had residents who rebelled against slavery. The abolitionists' talks and presentations encouraged all of these viewpoints.

Weather conditions are natural phenomenon which man cannot control. So, since shipping of the toys were delayed due to severe weather, stores did not receive enough toys therefore, the available toys became more valuable and expensive. A free morpheme is a morpheme that can be used as a separate word. Some roots are free morphemes, which means that they can be used independently, without other morphemes, and still make sense. Roots that can't be used as separate words are considered locked.

The word fraction consists of the root fract and suffix -ion. The word fract can be found in some dictionaries, but it's marked as obsolete, which means that it's no longer used and that most people won't understand it. It used to be an adjective and verb with the following meaning:

Adjective - broken or cracked;Verb - to break or to crack.

As it's no longer used independently, the root fract is now locked.

what are the results for perpetrators and victims in Darfur genocide

Answers

Answer:

In Sudan's western Darfur region, a massive campaign of ethnic violence has claimed the lives of more than 70,000 civilians and uprooted an estimated 1.8 million more since February 2003. The roots of the violence are complex and parts of the picture remain unclear. But several key facts are now well known. The primary perpetrators of the killings and expulsions are government-backed "Arab" militias. The main civilian victims are black "Africans" from three tribes. And the crisis is currently the worst humanitarian disaster on the planet.

The bloodshed in Darfur has by now received a great deal of attention. Much of the public debate in the United States and elsewhere, however, has focused not on how to stop the crisis, but on whether or not it should be called a "genocide" under the terms of the Genocide Convention.

Answers

Answer:

At a typical NFL game, there are 30,000 spectators

Explanation:

Here, we want to calculate the total number of spectators at a typical NFL game

Let the total number of spectators be x

The number of male spectators will be;

3/5 * x = 3x/5

The number of female spectators will be;

2/5* x = 2x/5

The difference between the male and female spectators number is 6,000

Mathematically;

3x/5 - 2x/5 = 6000

x/5 = 6000

x = 5 * 6000

x = 30,000

KATE: [TOO QUICKLY] What did she spell?

ANNIE: I spelled card. She spelled cake!

(She takes in KATE’S quickness and shakes her head, gently.)

No, it’s only a finger game to her, Mrs. Keller. What she has to learn first is that things have names.

KATE: And when will she learn?

ANNIE: Maybe after a million and one words.

Next, read the excerpt from The Story of My Life by Helen Keller.

When I had played with it a little while, Miss Sullivan slowly spelled into my hand the word "d-o-l-l." I was at once interested in this finger play and tried to imitate it. When I finally succeeded in making the letters correctly I was flushed with childish pleasure and pride. Running downstairs to my mother I held up my hand and made the letters for doll. I did not know that I was spelling a word or even that words existed; I was simply making my fingers go in monkey-like imitation. In the days that followed I learned to spell in this uncomprehending way a great many words, among them pin, hat, cup and a few verbs like sit, stand and walk. But my teacher had been with me several weeks before I understood that everything has a name.

Based on the excerpts, how is the point of view in the play The Miracle Worker different from the point of view in the memoir The Story of My Life?

Only the play shows Helen having difficulty learning that things have names.
Only the memoir shows Helen’s thoughts about her lessons.
Only the memoir shows Annie’s thoughts about Helen’s behavior.
Only the play shows Helen’s feelings about her mother.
