IM BEGGING CAN I PLEASE GET HELP WITH THE CORRECT answers IF U PLEASE IM GIVING ALL MY LAST POINTS I HAVE :(
Answer:
This is the hardest question I have ever answered. I love books and storytelling with a passion and have read thousands of books. That said, how good a particular scene is in a book is totally subjective; some will like it, some will not. It all depends on personal preference. So, because I could go on and on about hundreds of books, I'm going to stick to just a couple of books and a couple of scenes:
A.C. Crispin, Ta Han Solo Trilogy, book 1. The scene at the beginning of the book where the ookie cook who raised Han dies protecting him. She lingers, and her and Han have this heart wrenching goodbye scene. (My eyes are tearing up recalling it)
The Han Solo Trilogy, book 3. The scene at the end where Han and Chewi make the famous Kessel Run. It's described in detail. My heart was racing while I read it. And I still get goosebumps.
J.R.R. Tolkien. The Lord of the Rings, book 3, The Return of the King. When Frodofinally threw the one ring into the fires of Mt. Doom. I was 11 years old, and it was 2am when I got to this part. I remember jumping up on my bed and doing a fist pump. To which I hear from down the hall, “Tristan!!, put the book away and go to bed”. I didn't. I finished it that night.
Wilson Rawls. Where the Red Fern Grows. The scene where Old Dan dies. I’m 9 years old sitting at the dinner table, and I'm just bawling. My heart actually hurt, it was so emotional. My mom, always the sympathetic one, took the book away and calmed me down enough so I could eat my dinner, and then banned books from the dinner table. (Love you Mom).
Where the Red Fern Grows. The scene where Little Anne starves to death. This was later that same night after I read where Old Dan died. I was in my room and it was Niagara Falls all over again. I kept quiet though, I didn't want my mom coming in and taking the book away.
Frank Herbert, Children of Dune. The Scene where the twins are about to split-up for the first time in their lives. These are their parting lines, “Travel swiftly, my old friend”. “ I will return to you, my only friend.” I immediately hugged my little sister after reading that. To which she asked, “ What's your problem weirdo”. I just told her I loved her. Being I'm an introvert, she's the one who has always understood me best.
I could go on and on, but I'm going to end it there. I'm sure there are going to be people who would argue the question with me. And there will be those who are just going to cite famous scenes from books everyone knows. But as I said, it's whatever scenes in whatever books that touched you and we're memorable to you. Because I love stories,

There are no strategies for
understanding what a question is
asking. Instead, you should guess.
True
False
Answer:
False
Explanation:
This is false as there are many ways that people can understand what a question is asking without prior knowledge.
Answer and Explanation:
The answer is false.
There will always be a way or a strategy to understand what a question is asking. Even if you may not know the strategy, there is one.
An example of a strategy to understanding what a question is asking is by using context clues in the question, and how it is related to the answers (if there are answer choices, or what the written answer may be related to).
With guessing, you have a chance of getting an answer right, which isn't the best thing to do as there are strategies you can use first to try and figure out the question. If you have absolutely no clue, then guessing is the option to use (only if all other options didn't work).

An Understanding with the Indians (1621)
All this while the Indians came skulking about them, and would sometimes show themselves aloof off, but when any approached near them, they would run away. And once they stole away their tools where they had been at work and were gone to dinner. But about the 16th of March, a certain Indian came boldly amongst them and spoke to them in broken English, which they could well understand but marveled at it. At length they understood by discourse with him, that he was not of these parts, but belonged to the eastern parts where some English ships came to fish, with whom he was acquainted and could name sundry of them by their names, amongst whom he had got his language. He became profitable to them in acquainting them with many things concerning the state of the country in the east parts where he lived, which was afterwards profitable unto them; as also of the people here, of their names, number and strength, of their situation and distance from this place, and who was chief amongst them. His name was Samoset. He told them also of another Indian whose name was Squanto, a native of this place, who had been in England and could speak better English than himself.
Being after some time of entertainment and gifts dismissed, a while after he came again, and five more with him, and they brought again all the tools that were stolen away before, and made way for the coming of their great Sachem, called Massasoit. Who, about four or five days after, came with the chief of his friends and other attendance, with the aforesaid Squanto. With whom, after friendly entertainment and some gifts given him, they made a peace with him (which hath now continued this 24 years) in these terms:
That neither he nor any of his should injure or do hurt to any of their people.
That if any of his did hurt to any of theirs, he should send the offender, that they might punish him.
That if anything were taken away from any of theirs, he should cause it to be restored; and they should do the like to his.
If any did unjustly war against him, they would aid him; if any did war against them, he should aid them.
He should send to his neighbors confederates to certify them of this, that they might not wrong them, but might be likewise comprised in the conditions of peace.
That when their men came to them, they should leave their bows and arrows behind them.
After these things he returned to his place called Sowams, some 40 miles from this place, but Squanto continued with them and was their interpreter and was a special instrument sent of God for their good beyond their expectation. He directed them how to set their corn, where to take fish, and to procure other commodities, and was also their pilot to bring them to unknown places for their profit, and never left them till he died. He was a native of this place, and scarce any left alive besides himself. He was carried away with divers others by one Hunt, a master of a ship, who thought to sell them for slaves in Spain; but he got away for England and was entertained by a merchant in London, and employed to Newfoundland and other parts, and lastly brought hither into these parts by one Mr. Dermer, a gentleman employed by Sir Ferdinando Gorges and others for discovery and other designs in these parts.
Readers can infer that Samoset’s visit to the community improves the relationship between the colony members and the Native Americans.
Which detail from the passage best supports this inference?
1. “He was a native of this place, and scarce any left alive besides himself.”
2. “After these things he returned to his place called Sowams, some 40 miles from this place, but Squanto continued with them and was their interpreter…”
3. “He told them also of another Indian whose name was Squanto, a native of this place, who had been in England and could speak better English than himself.”
4. “With whom, after friendly entertainment and some gifts given him, they made a peace with him (which hath now continued this 24 years)…”
Answer:
Quote 4 is the strongest support to the claim that the relationship between the colony members and the Native Americans improved.
Explanation:

Read the excerpt from The Mother of America:
George Washington is frequently considered the "Father of America." Likewise, his wife, Martha Washington, could also be considered the "Mother of America," as demonstrated by her roles as the general's wife and the first lady.
During the American Revolution, Martha Washington earned the title of "Mother of America" for her caring nature as the general's wife. She was also very brave. Despite the danger of kidnapping, Martha refused to abandon her home, Mount Vernon, in Virginia. When Martha did leave the plantation for periods of time, she traveled to the military camps where Washington was staying. First, Martha had to be vaccinated so that she would not suffer from smallpox. Once she was inoculated, Martha made the risky trip to camp. British and American soldiers roamed the countryside, and capture was a real possibility. Nevertheless, Martha arrived at each winter camp. She acted as confidant and secretary to George Washington, who believed that her presence was crucial. She encouraged the soldiers, helped their wives, and comforted those who were wounded. One of her key roles was also to entertain important visitors to the camp. Occasionally, Martha Washington even represented George at events he could not attend. Martha used her position to contribute to fundraising efforts for military supplies in 1780 and knit socks for the soldiers herself. Overall, her care and attention to others' needs made her the "Mother of America" during the American Revolution.
What evidence does the author use to support the idea that Martha Washington should be considered the "Mother of America"?
A. British and American soldiers roamed the countryside, and capture was a real possibility.
it is not B.
C. First, Martha had to be vaccinated so that she would not suffer from smallpox.
D. She encouraged the soldiers, helped their wives, and comforted those who were wounded.
